The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-round match which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the combatants confronted each other to build hype for the upcoming boxing match.
Former twice world boxing king Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Fighter's Mentality
"I'm going to damage his features and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I intend to really want to hurt him. That's my goal."
Civil Interaction
Despite those words, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally famous for his showmanship - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul rather attacked former Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian declined a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted British rival Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua said.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of saying he intends to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Paul's History
Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
Still, the novice is still one of boxing's biggest financial successes, frequently receiving massive paydays.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would stop the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently under discussion for two years from now.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury next year," Paul stated.
Size Disparity
As the two fighters met for the usual stare-down, with their size difference evident, it highlighted just how unlikely this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is truly going ahead.
