Zelenskyy Meets with Troops Near Heavily Contested Pokrovsk
The head of state conducted a visit to meet with national troops in the eastern front on Tuesday. Zelenskyy announced that he consulted soldiers at the command post of the first unit of the state defense force Azov, which is conducting a defensive operation in the Dobropillya area, a location approximately 12 miles from Pokrovsk.
Volatile Situation in Pokrovsk
Updated analysis from a local initiative indicated that invading troops had made gains into Pokrovsk and its environs, though a large portion was not fully held by either side. The status is precarious, with accounts indicating that invading units were fortifying positions and building up positions in various sectors.
